Founded in 1988 by Nezih Neyzi, who also established PEVA Research, Turkey's first market research company, TÜAD-Turkish Researchers’ Association is a professional organization of which main area includes marketing and public surveys and members are legal and natural persons.
Since it has provided data and information with high added value to many industries operating in different areas, Researchers’ Association was granted the right of using “Turkish” forename with the approval of Ministry of Interior and registered as "Turkish Researchers’ Association."
The mission of the Association is to carry out certain studies to establish national and international professional principles in the sector, laws and sector’s quality standards. TÜAD’s legal entities have GAB-Trustworthy Research Certificate and ISO 20252 quality certificates. In order to ensure reliability, transparency, and sustainability of quality standards in surveys, TÜAD’s legal entities are regularly audited by an independent, international, TÜRKAK-accredited audit organization every year.
TÜAD has representatives in the Advertising Self-Regulatory Board (RÖK) and in similar organizations. TÜAD has the role of an opinion leader as an authority in the sector in preparation of surveys and laws, regulations and legislations related to partner sectors taking part in surveys. Through the TÜAD Advisory Board, It serves as an expert to the relevant brands/institutions/organizations and courts in cases of disputes regarding surveys.
